There are three key programs.

 

Each program is based on experiential learning as well as expository instruction and specifically tailored to meet client requirements – not “off the shelf”. Programs are presented off-site, away from normal work distractions. It is recommended that each participant group be not less than 10 and not more than 16 although this can be adjusted.

 

Typically, the target group is divided into three tier levels – the current leadership cohort, the subordinate leadership cohort and a cohort of those identified as future leaders. Programs are presented separately to each of these groups and differ slightly in content and style.

 

The program option of a participant group made up of a tiered cross section of levels is also offered. 

 

A Leadership Manual and Workbooks are provided for all programs and workshops as well as palm size aide-memoire cards for easy carrying and/or display that show the key SAFAR models and tools.

  • This is the premium program.

 

  • It consists of 8 workshops each of 2½-3 days’ duration conducted over an eighteen-month period. Included along with the same subjects covered in the other programs and workshops listed below this program also comprises Emotional Intelligence (EI) assessment and BELBIN team role profiling as well as other evaluation/assessment models. This program includes a number of reality based experiential exercises and activities and detailed case studies.

 

  • The four modules are themed as follows:

 

  • Leading Self

  • Leading and Developing Others

  • Leading Teams

  • Leading Innovation and Change

 

 

 

  • This is the flagship SAFAR program developed and presented for a number of major clients internationally. There are three modules; a Pilot of 3 days and two more modules each of two days. Generally, there are two months between each module in order to minimize disruption to normal work routine and to implement workshop outcomes.

 

  • There are a series of unique experiential activities to optimize takeaway outcomes. The following subjects are covered:

 

  • Leading Teams

  • Teamworking

  • Planning: Appreciation and Process

  • Decision Making

  • Communication

  • Managing Organisational Behaviour and Culture

  • Project Management

 

  • A three day “one off” single module that broadly covers the same subjects as Program 2. Leading and Developing Others above but not in the same depth.

 

  • This program does not include project management but includes experiential exercises and case studies.

 

  • Leading Teams

  • Teamworking

  • Planning: Appreciation and Process

  • Decision Making

  • Communication

  • Managing Organisational Behaviour and Culture
